What Kind Of A Man

What kind of man are you my friend?
You stand so tall and yet you bend,
The heart you have is filled with gold,
And you share its wealth, yet store its cold.

What kind of man are you my friend?
To give your life, right to the end.
The wisdom you have and shared with me,
You give from your heart, you give for free.

What kind of man are you my friend?
And will I ever be, as you have to the end?
Your road to life was one of pain,
And in your eyes, I could see the strain.

The kind of man that you are my friend,
Is one I hope to be, when at last I reach my end.
Thank you my friend, for touching my heart.
Yes I'll always remember, even though we had to part.
