What kind of man are you my friend:
You stand so tall and yet you bend:
The heart you have is filled with gold:
And you share its wealth, yet store its cold:

What kind of man are you my friend:
To give your life, right to the end:
The wisdom you have and shared with me:
You give from your heart, you give for free:

What kind of man are you my friend:
And will I ever be, as you have to the end:
Your road to life was one of pain:
And in your eyes, I could see the strain:

The kind of man that you are my friend:
Is one I hope to be, when at last I reach my end:
Thank you my friend, for touching my heart:
